The Gods smiled down on creation, mankind

To kill in his name, Obey we must....
Origin of life, how do we explain?
Why do we love, Why must we feel pain?
They say it's Gods will, they blindly believe
Hades takes their children, so they pray as they grieve.
Lord giveth, The Lord take away!
If you give enough, you'll go to heaven someday...
Damn you all! The Only Gods I see
Are men with too much power, judging men like me
Man against man, God commands us
To kill for a King, In God we trust...
How old is the Earth? How can you tell?
You believe because you're afraid of Hell?
The myth says it was all created by Him
In a matter of days, and all on a whim.
But the Truth must be told, to break the spell
The greatest of lies, you'll no longer tell.
Faith against Faith will bring your demise
Think for yourself, and Open your eyes.
Soul against soul, will it never end?
If they invade the Holy Land, will you defend?
Fool against fool, you will choose a side
Or make a new God when a prophet dies.
Does God talk to you? What does He say?
Voices in your head echo every day!
What does God want? You think you're so sure?
He wants to make you sick, so you pray for a cure.
What happens after death, you hope it's not the end
So believe in an afterlife, it’s all in your head.
It stems from your fear, your fear of the unknown
You believe in a Heaven where you'll never be alone.
Even if your Heaven's real, for godly men and saints
You must call yourself good, that's how you earn your place
Every crime you commit is alright to forget
You'll be saved as long as you claim to repent!
Evil's everywhere, you can see it every day,
So believe in a Hell where the evil's got to pay.
Imaginary realm, burn in eternal flame,
Or float up to the sky ... but death is not a game.
Belief is not the enemy, faith is not a foe
If there is indeed a God, I doubt we'll ever know
But you ignore the truth, you blindly obey,
I believe you are confused as much as afraid
Ape against ape, for a branch of a tree
Never enough room for both you and me...
Sheep against sheep, fight your Holy War
Drop down dead, then pray some more...
Son against son, until someday
No more sons left, you must want it this way...
Worm against worm, feeding as you rot
You just decay, not the Heaven you sought...
Life against life, watch your bombs fall
To Earth, see it burn, God's will after all!
